Anti-human protein phosphatase inhibitor-2 antibody (Catalog # AP030)
Specificity:
Rabbit polyclonal antibody against human protein phosphatase inhibitor-2
Quality of anti-human protein
phosphatase inhibitor-2 antibody:
The quality of anti-protein phosphatase inhibitor-2
(I-2) antibody at 2,000-fold dilution is good to detect I-2 at the
concentration as low as 10 ng. I-2 was run on a 12% SDS-PAGE, followed by transferring to nitrocellulose paper and
immunoblotting with 2,000-fold diluted anti-I-2 antibody. Lane 1, 10 ng; Lane 2, 25 ng; Lane 3, 50 ng;
Lane 4, 100 ng; Lane 5, 250 ng.
Antigen used for immunizations:
Prokaryotic recombinant human protein phosphatase inhibitor-2 was used as immunogene to immunize New Zealand
female rabbits.
Storage Buffer and Reconstitution:
The ammonium sulfate-precipitated anti-human protein
phosphatase inhibitor-2 antiserum is kept in PBS with 1% BSA and then lyophilized. Lyophilized anti-human
protein phosphatase inhibitor-2 antybody should be reconstituted with 100 ul of H2O before use.
Recommendations on use:
Western blotting:
Working dilution for Western blotting is recommended as 1:2000.
Primary antibody should be incubated at 25 oC for at least 60 min.
Positive controls: Human protein phosphatase inhibitor-2
Storage and stability:
Store unopened antibody at 4 >oC or lower. Under these conditions, there is no
significant loss in product performance up to one year from the purchase
date. The reconstituted antibody is stable for at least two months when
stored at 4 oC. For long term storage, it is recommended that aliquots of the antibody are frozen at -20
oC (frost-free freezers are not recommended). Repeated freezing and thawing must be avoided. Prepare working dilutions on the day of use.
Legal consideration: FOR RESEARCH USE ONLY.
