Human SUMO1(Lys->Arg)
(Catalog # P005;
P014)
Description:
Human SUMO1(Lys->Arg)
is a mutant of the active human SUMO1 with all the internal lysine residues of SUMO1 replaced
with argine residues. Human SUMO1(Lys->Arg) is produced from a E. coli expression system, prepared from freshly extracted cell lysates, and
purified to homogeneity using methods developed by LAE Biotechnology Co., LTD.
The final fraction of enzyme contains a single polypeptide band of 11 kDa.
Concentration:
LAE-human SUMO1(Lys->Arg) is supplied at
the concentration of 0.5ug/ul (Cat # P005: 100ug/tube, 200ul/tube; Cat# P014: 50ug/tube, 100ul/tube).
The recommended working concentration is 50ug/ml.
Storage Buffer:
The final fraction of LAE-humanSUMO1(Lys->Arg) is an affinity column pool and is in the
following buffer: 10 mM Tris-Cl, pH 7.5, 100 mM NaCl, 100 mM imidazole, 0.5 mM
PMSF, 1 mM DTT, and 10 % glycerol. The protein is stable in this buffer at
-20~70oC. In general, the protein is less stable when diluted.
We don¡¦t recommend any dilution of the protein.
Shipping/Storage:
The protein is shipped on ice and must be stored at -20oC or lower.
Legal consideration: FOR RESEARCH USE ONLY.
Figure Legend:
GST-hTOP1110-125 was subjected to in vitro sumoylation in the presence of
either wild type SUMO1 or SUMO1(Lys->Arg). The reaction products were analyzed by 12.5
% SDS-polyacrylamide gel, followed by immunoblotting using anti-GST antibodies.
